Komodo provides Ultimate Diving Adventure -- Komodo National Park and the surrounding areas boast a unique biosphere born in the ancient volcanic eruptions that formed Sumatra, Java, Bali and Papua New Guinea. The topography of the islands are striking and unique. The waters harbor one of the world's richest marine environments with over 260 species of reef building coral, 70 species of sponge, marine worms, mollusks, echinoderms, crustaceans, over 1000 species of cartilaginous and bony fish, marine reptiles, and marine mammals. Some notable marine species include pygmy seahorses, anglerfish, nudibranchs, manta rays, dolphins, whales, dugongs, napolean wrasse and groupers. Topside, Komodo National Park hosts a rare diversity of animals, including a population of the world’s largest lizard, the famous Komodo Dragon. The Park is also home to Sunda deer, wild buffalo, wild boar, the macaque monkey and wild horse. For bird watchers, there have been over 150 bird species identified including the sulphur-crested cockatoos, imperial pigeons, white-breasted sea eagles and maleos.

The Sailing Yacht Indo Siren -- The 40 metre S/Y Indo Siren will be the newest member of the Worldwide Dive & Sail fleet when completed in the spring of 2011. Island Dreams' sixteen guests will be accommodated in eight large air-conditioned cabins, each with their own personal computer, audio-visual entertainment system and ensuite bathrooms with hot water. All cabins are outfitted with luxury extras including bathrobes, hair dryers, towels, individually controlled mood lighting and individual controls for your air-conditioning unit. The dining area is very spacious offering a great setting for all your meals. The dive deck will perhaps be the most spacious and comfortable you have ever experienced.

Specialized features for Underwater Photographers & Videographers -- Each cabin is fitted with an individual computer and multiple power sources to facilitate the needs of digital photography. The computer features high end specifications and 20” high definition flatscreens, which are integrated with the yachts network server in the saloon. There are spacious workstations for the preparation and maintenance of cameras and large fresh water rinse tanks.

The S/Y Indo Siren has been designed and constructed based upon Lloyds Standards, the leading international body of maritime safety standards. Thus aboard our yacht, our crew has been specially trained in all aspects of safety, emergency and evacuation procedures. And our yacht is equipped with the latest safety features including Life Rafts, Life Jackets, Fire Extinguishers, Smoke Alarms, Emergency Long Distance Radios, and Satellite Phones.

Basic Tour Itinerary: Tuesday, August 7, 2012 -- You must arrive Bali, Indonesia no later than the day prior to our sailing. Please note that airfare to Bali and overnight lodging is at the guests' additional expense, but Island Dreams will be happy to assist you with the appropriate arrangements as needed. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 -- Transfer to the domestic terminal of the Bali airport for a flight to Bima. This domestic airfare, Bali / Bima / Bali is included in Island Dreams' package price. August 8 - 18, 2012 -- Ten nights aboard S/Y Indo Siren, enjoying the best of Komodo diving, plus a land excursion to see and photograph the Komodo dragons. Saturday, August 18, 2012 -- Disembark in the morning, with local flight back to Bali. You may arrange an evening flight departure from Bali on this day, or stay on for a few days to enjoy the myriad pleasures of Bali and Ubud. (Airfare and Bali lodging is not included in the basic package price).
