Irian Jaya Photo Portfolio

The images presented in this gallery were collected in the remote archipelago of Irian Jaya. This is the western, Indonesia-claimed portion of the immense island of New Guinea. Also known as West Papua, this is a little explored, and even less-dived area of the world. A highlight of the Irian Jaya diving is the very high concentration of fish life, which as you will see made wide-angle photography quite a pleasure.
