Scuba Diving - Ocean Encounters is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center with a fleet of 6 boats, retail shop, rentals and lockers. Offering 2-tank morning boat diving, special snorkel trips and shore tanks at the hotel's excellent house reef you can fill your dive day.
Accommodations - A range of accommodations are offered to suit your needs. Hotel rooms in standard, ocean view and oceanfront categories most with either king bed or 2 double beds. The resort's luxury apartments feature 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living rooms with sofa sleepers, fully equipped kitchens, and large balconies that overlook a large 50-meter infinity pool. All suites are oceanfront 1 or 2 bedrooms with stunning ocean views and spacious balconies. The oceanfront penthouse will indulge you with all the conveniences of home with a private gym, rain shower for two, 180 degree beach and ocean view balcony, conference table for six and a TV monitor for presentations.
Beach - Lions Dive & Beach Resort sits on an idyllic, palm studded private beach with plenty of lounge beach chairs and beds, beach huts and sunshades. There is beach towel service for hotel guests. Since breakwaters are in place, the beach is also friendly for children; they can play at the beach and in the sea in shallow water. Lions Dive's private beach connects to Curaçao's largest white sand beach named 'Sea Aquarium Beach' (popular Mambo Beach), with several beach shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Restaurants and Bars - Culinary lovers have different choices at Lions Dive & Beach Resort, since the resort has three different bars & restaurants on property. Most famous is the Beach Bar & Restaurant Hemingway, located right on the beach. Hemingway starts the day at 7 AM with a breakfast buffet. For lunch you can choose between Hemingway, but also the nice lunchroom, Piazza, at the 50-meter pool. Dinner is served at Hemingway or you can book your table at the fine dining restaurant, Nemo (Seafood Grill). Happy hours and live music will be found at Hemingway. Besides the hotel's outlets, there are several other bars and restaurants in walking distance of the resort.
Body Beach Wellness Club - The Body Beach Wellness Club is one of the better private sport and fitness facilities on the island and located next to Lions Dive & Beach Resort. Just completely renewed with a great variety of the latest TechnoGym cardio and strength machines it makes the club the perfect place to have a healthy workout during your stay at Lions Dive. As a guest at Lions Dive you have unlimited free access to the fitness rooms and all daily classes (schedule available at the reception of the club). Just by signing up with your room key you can work out on your own or with the present instructors and / or personal trainers in completely air-conditioned rooms. The Body Beach Wellness Club is also the place for the best massages (on the beach!), body treatments and facials by professional masseuses at very reasonable prices.
Santai Spa - A visit to Santai Spa is a refreshment for body and spirit. Santai means 'relaxation' in Indonesian and the moment you step into this newly developed oasis of tranquility you will know why they choose this name. At Santai Spa you may enjoy various internationally renowned, but also locally developed indulging treatments such as massages (also available on the beach), body and facial treatments, manicures and pedicures. All this is put together with passion and care, so you can have an ultimate experience. Hotel guests have free access to the spa facilities including sauna and steamroom.
All-inclusive Value - Island Dreams' packages for Lions Dive & Beach Resort include airport transfers, 7-nights lodging in air-conditioned room, three meals daily, six days of two-tank boat diving, and unlimited shore tanks. Meals are not included, but a meal plan is available. The hotel tax is included in these rates, but please note that air travel to Curaçao is not included in this pricing.
