Starting many moons ago as boat boy in the Bay Islands of Honduras, a rare combination of hard work, intelligence, and good fortune have taken Peter Hughes to the highest echelons of diving. His reknown began with the superior level of service provided by the dive operation he developed at Flamingo Beach Resort in Bonaire.
Now, decades later, in addition to operating top notch land based diving operations throughout the Caribbean, Peter Hughes Diving offers a selection of excellent live-aboard dive vessels operating around the world. Select from these world-class live-aboard options:

Throughout the week aboard the Island Dancer II, an intimate 10 passenger yacht, guests will explore the reefs, bommies and walls of Nigali Pass, Wakaya, Koro and Namenalala Islands. Known as the soft coral capital, the brilliant colors on display will dazzle even the most experienced divers and photographers. Drift dives with eagle rays, mantas, turtles, sharks and giant groupers are also on the itinerary. Clownfish, pygmy seahorses, ornate ghost pipefish, and a multitude of nudibranchs bring smiles to every dive! With direct flights from several major cities worldwide, it is an easy destination to add to your dive log. To top off the exiting diving and experience some of Fiji’s local culture, a visit to a Fijian village on one of the remote islands is arranged including a Kava ceremony and warrior dance. All guests are required to wear a traditional sulu (sarong or wrap) so either bring your own or Island Dancer will gladly provide one for you!

PARADISE DANCER
188 feet long and 39 feet wide
sailing in North Sulawesi,
and Raja Ampat, Indonesia
Serving 18 guests with a crew of 20.
Paradise Dancer sails from Manado or Sorong, Indonesia.
Paradise Dancer is the largest yacht in the Dancer Fleet coming in at 57 meters (188 feet) in length. Constructed out of wood, she is a three masted motor schooner inspired by the majesty of the US Schooners circa 1800. The interior style is that of a “floating boutique resort” and features high end amenities guests expect of the Dancer Fleet. All of the state rooms are larger than traditional liveaboard state rooms (at 180 sq. ft. each, more than 60% larger than an average liveaboard cabin) and each cabin has private ensuite facilities and air conditioning. There is also a 470 square foot "Master and Commander Suite " at the stern of the main deck that features a king size bed, separate sitting area with a sofa, and table with chairs that reminds guests of the "captains quarters" from the schooner design that inspired her.
Charters are 11 nights, 9 & 1/2 days of diving, 3-4 dives per day. From April through the September, Paradise Dancer will cruise out of North Sulawesi (Bunaken Marine Park, Bangka Straight, Sangihe Islands, and Lembeh Straight, a top critter destination). The remainder of the year concentrates on the amazing adventure diving of remote Raja Ampat, sailing from Sorong.

Belize is located on the Yucatan Peninsula approximately 250 miles south of Cancun. It borders Mexico to the north, Guatemala to the west and south, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. There are three atolls located offshore beyond the main barrier reef. The most famous of the atolls is Lighthouse Reef, which is the location of the Blue Hole and the magnificent nature preserve at Half Moon Cay. A guided dive of the famous Blue Hole is planned weekly, followed by a shore excursion with a picnic lunch on Half Moon Cay. Lighthouse Reef and Glover's Reef boast much of the best diving in Belize where visibility can exceed 120', with annual water temperature ranging from 78-84 degrees f. You can expect to see everything from a panoply of macro critters inhabiting the lush coral formations to eagle rays, manta rays, turtles, tarpon, and dolphin.

sailing Granada, St. Vincent,
and the Grenadines
