Extra Value, Air Transfers Included -- The packages priced below include round-trip air transfers between Belize City International Airport and the air strip at Ambergris Caye. Of course, it then also includes your ground transfers between the air strip and Sunbreeze Hotel. However, please note that this pricing does not include your international airfare to Belize City.
Ambergris Caye Diving -- Local boat dives are based on diving one of the many varied sites along the World Heritage Belize Barrier Reef, deep walls, spur and groove, colorful corals and sponges, swim throughs, along with an abundance of marine life both large and small. Two boat trips per day are offered, with the first leaving at 9:00 am. This is a two-tank dive. Dive times vary between 40-55 minutes depending on the depth and condition and are generally multi-level. On the boat towels, fresh fruit, light snacks and juice are provided during your surface interval which is taken inside the reef and aboard our custom built dive boat. The second boat trip leaves at 2:30 pm and is generally a one tank dive generally lasting between 40 and 55 minutes. The packages below describe what diving is included. If you prefer, you may also add additional boat diving. An additional two-tank (morning) boat dive trip is $96 per person. A one-tank (afternoon) trip is $90 per person.
Optional Lighthouse Reef / Blue Hole Dive Trip -- Meet at The Dive Center at 6:00 am for a light continental breakfast and coffee. The dive boat will depart the SunBreeze Pier at 6:15 am. The boat trip takes between 2 - 2 ½ hours depending on weather conditions, but the large custom-built boats are comfortable and there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy the journey. The first dive is in the famous Blue Hole and with a bottom time of 7 minutes at 135 ft to see the stalactite formations and a total dive time of approximately 40 minutes. It is a deep but spectacular dive and unlike anything else you will experience in Belize or anywhere else. During your surface interval towels, juice, snacks and fresh fruit will be provided, and the boat will move to either Half Moon Caye or Long Caye for the second dive (dependent on weather conditions). Both areas offer breathtaking wall dives where the top of the reef starts between 20 and 30 feet. Maximum depth on this dive is usually 70 feet with a dive time of 40-50 minutes. Following that enjoy lunch served family style on Half Moon Caye where a tour of the Bird Reserve is a must. Once lunch is over and you have had time to take in the scenery, jump back aboard and head to Long Caye for the day's third and final dive. The trip usually arrives back at the Dive Center around 6:30 pm. It's a long day, but a very unique diving experience. Please note that a $40 Blue Hole park fee is not included in the package price, and must be paid on site.
