Grand Turk, tiny island capital of the Turks & Caicos, has a population of just 4,000. What we've established is that for serious scuba divers, the best way to experience the Turks & Caicos is via live-aboard dive boat.

Why live-aboard? If you are land-based in Providenciales, the best dive sites require a boat ride of 1 and 1/2 hours, each way. Grand Turk is closer to the good diving, but there is a shortage of workable lodging. Thus if you want to enjoy the best of Turks & Caicos' excellent diving, a live-aboard dive boat is the way to go.
